Mathias Vanluchene
Mathias is from Belgium, but enjoying the Prague lifestyle since 2015. With 2 small kids, his love for hiking in the mountains has changed towards playing in the forests, mushroom picking and visiting numerous playgrounds in the city. After discovering many places in South East Asia, he now likes to keep it closer to home. He thinks Czech Republic has so many beautiful places, but is also a good starting point for international travels. Professionally, he’s always been a digital marketing guy. He’s the owner of Locus since 2020 but was a member (and big fan) long before that.
Eva Sanz
Eva comes from Spain, but she sees herself as a citizen of the world. After previous international experiences in Belgium and Canada, landed in Prague in September 2020. Travelling is her biggest passion. When she’s not on a trip, you’ll find her writing articles and sharing her adventures on her travel blog. Other than that, she likes photography, having a good laugh with friends around a cold Pilsner and learning languages, although Czech seems to be the exception. What she enjoys the most about being a Community Manager in Locus is the opportunity to meet people from around the world and be part of an inspiring community of members!

Our Behind-the-Scenes Tech Hero
If you’ve ever enjoyed fast Wi-Fi or walked through the Locus door with ease, you’ve got Sylvain to thank. Originally from Switzerland, he’s been a part of Locus for over a decade and knows the place inside out. He keeps our tech running smoothly and even built the door app we all use to access the space.
Marta and Anna
Our Friday Yoga Duo
Every Friday, Marta and Anna bring calm and positive energy to Locus with their yoga sessions. Marta is from the Czech Republic and Anna is from Germany, and together they take turns leading the weekly class, helping us all unwind, stretch out, and reset after a busy week.
Tyler
Capturing Locus Moments
Originally from the US, Tyler has a great eye for photography and helps us document life at Locus. From community events to spontaneous moments, you’ll often find him behind the camera. Thanks to him, we have a beautiful record of the moments that bring us together.
Helena
Teaching Czech with Patience and Passion
Czech can be a tough language with its tricky grammar and pronunciation, but Helena is up for the challenge. As a full time native teacher, she’s on a mission to help some of our members navigate the language with patience and dedication. Děkujeme!

Leading Moments of Peace
Orestis, all the way from Greece, leads meditation sessions at Locus to help our community unwind and find a bit of peace. His sessions offer a perfect break from work life, creating a space where members can relax, recharge, and reconnect with themselves.
